Kiss the Bride Films, currently in its fifth season, was established by Leslie Satterfield, a film maker whose background in documentary and fashion synthesizes photojournalistic and editorial styles. We’re a small team of Brooklyn-based artists working closely both day-of and in post production. Each team member is trained to emulate our fine art, cinematic aesthetic — one that emphasizes technical prowess, creativity and story-telling.
Leslie holds a BFA in Fine Art Photography and Film from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Her first film was an official selection of Sundance, and her short films have screened at festivals internationally. Commercial film clients have included Interview Magazine, Ford Models, MTV and Art in America. Before moving to Brooklyn, Leslie studied in San Francisco, London, and Amsterdam. As the studio’s owner and artistic director, her signature romantic style and perfectionism are the cornerstones of our method.
